If you have replaced a clutch on a Samurai with a 1.6 and Tracker 5 speed, did you have to pull the engine with the transmission to get to it?

I'm running the same set-up. Though I have not had to change the clutch yet, I anticipate having to pull the engine and transmission together when the time comes.

I guess it's either pull the engine and transmission or pull the body.

I have a 1.6 with tracker trans, may be looking at a clutch install myself, I have at least a 3' body lift, maybe 4, think I can change it out without pulling the motor or body ?

A stock transmission just barely clears the cross member and a Tracker transmission is several inches longer.
