I attended a run this weekend in Clayton and was proud to see that none of the trails have been closed as of yet. This was suppose to be a novice run. That was a joke. I saw some of the most tricked hardcore vehicles around. Seemed like everyone was sporting at least 38" swampers. I rolled my Sami on our run, plus week had three TJs break axles and a Scrambler twist off a drive shaft.

my friends and i signed up for the hard core run[snake pit and part of the power line] saturday they said we had to have lockers and a winch. the guy leading the run said we were going to have a hard time.but all three of us made it,but i had a little more work with my front still open.i will fix that before i go back, which will be soon if they don't close it.i have to admit 36 in. tires are kind of small around there.we had a couple of problems on the run,one was a throttle cable on a bronco, axle on the same bronco, fire on a land cruiser, got exciting for a min.but i had a blast next time i will go with out all the people probably just 5 or 10 of us.later mike

Did yall run all the trails that you said were on the hit list last weekend, or did yall play outside of that perimeter.I really dont want to go buy a permit just to go over to floyds hill and all.I dont remember floyds being in permit area, but I know you go thru it somwhere close to it.Was anybody out there from gp giving dirty looks?

Leader, I ran the main trail that is in the area to be closed down and that was the powerline trail. I heard all the other trails were open as well. As far as Floyd's Hill you travel through the Hanobia manangement area to get to Floyd's. Floyd's is not in it though. No one from Georgis Pacific was around. It was a peaceful weekend of off-roading.
