Instaled a new ari diaphram style clutch in the 78 cj7 which has a ford5.0 engine/clutch. Damn thing is so tight you can barly press the pedal down. it sucks to drive. ruined. I was thinkin of changing the clutch linkage to a hydrolic system to try to solve the problem. Any help or info would be appretiated. Do ya think this will work?? how about a booster like on the brakes??? How much throw for the slave??? I gotta do somethin' and like the extra force the clutch exerts, I was told about 400lbs on the pressure plate. I can now light up 33's. All i could do before is light up the clutch. don't want to take it out.
