They are identical, '81 to '86. Also YJ doors, full and half doors fit perfectly. If you have '76-'80 CJ-7 hard doors, they won't work because they don't use the same striker setup. If you find YJ hard half doors, the windows wont fit the upper hard top opening but if you can get some TJ upper windows, they will fit by changing the angle on the rear locating pin so that it lays on top of the door panel instead of going into the rear hole on top of the door. Does anyone know if the hard doors on a cj7 are the same as the ones on the cj8.
If so then would the soft doors be the same also. I have a cj8 and the hard doors aren't in the best of shape and would like to find some better ones.
