CJ- YJ or TJ flares give more clearance?

This weekend my rear tire crunched up into the back quarter panel while rock crawling. To prevent this in the future I want to cut the rear fender and install YJ or TJ flares. Which one gives more clearance?

I have a 4" procomp lift with 33" tires. Any idea if cutting the fender in the back will be enough to get me full articulation with no damage or will I also need a 1" body lift?

Thanks

Shawn

CJ and YJ use the same openings. The TJ flairs will open you up. Just align the flairs with the front of the rear opening, and trim the back to fit. The front fenders are a little harder. You have to trim the fender severely. I cut the fender back to the inner fender. But most METAL fenders are trimmed to fit the flair, and the inner fender is bent back to match.
