CJ Tow Shackles

Has anyone out there had any experience with the front spring shackles that are designed with an extra pin to hook a tow bar to?
Have looked at the ones Quadratec sells and they don't look much stronger than stock.
Am looking for a solution on a CJ-7 and am interested in hearing some opinions or other ideas. I am keeping the Jeep looking as stock as possible and thought the shackles points would be the way to go.
Thoughts?
