I CALLED CARPARTS.COM TO ORDER THE HUB/ROTOR ASSEMBLY FOR MY 1977 CJ-7 D30. THEY NEED TO KNOW IF THE CALIPER FLANGE IS 5 BOLT OR 2 BOLT. WHAT ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT?

Are there 2 or 6 bolts that hold your calipers on? Thats what they are asking.
According to my notes:
'76-'78 = 6 bolts
'79-'81 = 2 bolts

I have never owned a CJ newer than '79 so I don't know what '81 and up might have. If your D30 is original you should have the 6 bolt version. But you could always take a wheel off and look.

There are a couple of ways to answer this...crawl under the jeep and look at the backside of your caliper and count...refer to one of the good catalogs i.e. Quadratec or 4WDH and they will tell you. BTW I have a 78 CJ and mine is two bolt...according to the info I have two bolt is on 78-86...6 bolt is 76-78. Most sure method is to look on the backside of the caliper. It is plain as day.
