what is the difference in frames? i can get an older style cj for 600 bucks and the frame is mint. i want to replace my frame (89 yj) with the cj frame if it fits

There's a YJ frame here.. (boxed not c-channel.)

It's in mint condition...when it was wire wheeled it was shiny underneath.. been freshly painted too

It can be done, but you would just have to do what we all do when we use a YJ tub on are CJ. The grill mount is differenct also. Personally a CJ frame is junk compared to a YJ frame. I would look for a yj frame.
