i know, i know, people keep asking about this, but i did run a search first. i have been looking for the brake stuff i need, and have found that big brake parts are alot easier to find. seems that jeeps, broncos, fords, and chevys all have interchageable parts for big brakes. prices of both seem exactly the same everywhere, except pads, which are more expensive for big brakes. so my question is, are big brakes better? are small brakes better?

I can think of only two advantages that small brakes have over big brakes:

1. They're cheaper
2. They're lighter.

On the other hand, big brakes:

1. Require lower hydraulic pressure.
2. Wear more slowly.
3. Will stop a heavier load.
4. Will stop from a higher speed.
5. Will work effectively with a larger tire.

What did I miss?
