Thanks to everyone who helped and gave suggestions when my CJ wouldn't start. I figured it out today...the wire that goes from the pin on the bottom of the starter solenoid to the neutral safety switch (automatic trans) had no contact to ground. I ran a short wire from that stud to ground and it fired right up! It will start in gear now, but it will be fine until spring when the Jeep gets taken apart for a rebuild, and I can go through the wiring harness. Thanks again!

Nope, I jumped the plug that goes to the neutral safety switch and that didn't do it. With the plug jumped out, the wire at the solenoid should have been grounded and it wasn't, so I just grounded it on the fender./wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif
