I bought a CJ7 three years ago /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif and next summer I want to change out the suspension. I would like to put 33's on, I now have 31's. What size lift should I use? I have no idea what I have on there now /wwwthreads_images/icons/blush.gif , how can I tell that? I was going to use a Superlift 4". Is this too much /wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif or is that okay? I want it to look beefy but not weird /wwwthreads_images/icons/cool.gif . I use it off road in upstate New York /wwwthreads_images/icons/laugh.gif , and as my daily driver five miles to work.
Thanks. /wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif

We've been over this a million times, but it is worth going over again. A 4" lift on a CJ7 would be perfect for 33s. The alternative is
a 2.5" with a 1" body lift. Reason for this is the 2.5" lifts usually ride a little better, less spring arch. Either way will work. I personally
have a 2.5" lift with the 1" body lift and ConFerr shackles that are 3/8" longer than stock. With the swaybar disconnected and at full
articulation the front tires clear, barely, with 33x12.50 BFG ATs.
