I'm thinking of swapping in a 350 into my Jeep and I am deciding between two donors. Does anybody know the difference in power between a camero LT1 vs caprice LT1 or where I can find this info. I've got a lead on a '94 caprice compleate for $1250.

I don't think there is enough difference between the two to mean anything. I would go with the best deal I could find.

I found camaro info - 275 hp and after 3 hours of searching have only found a questionable answer for the caprice at 260 hp. That could be simply a differnce in exhaust. I say questionable because It was in a car review, not a spec sheet. Now to search how to hook up the TPI!

That sounds about right. The later Camaros were bumped up higher than that, but that is what the "early" ones were rated at. On the Caprice/Impala engines I'm pretty sure it was just exhaust and intake differences that kept the HP lower. Either one makes for a pretty stout engine for a Jeep.

I believe the camaros from the 90/s had roller cams, dont think the caprice had it unless it was a police package!!!!
