I am looking for any info on the old single seat buggy produced by Chenowth called back in the 80's the Mini-Mag?

I saw 2 of them on trailers headed down the 15 fwy one day and the driver told me they were racing them in desert races now.

Does anyone know what name they are called now? What races do they compete in? Can put me in contact with anyone who might own one either currently racing or broken down in a garage somewhere?

Any info anyone has would be helpful.
