well, can't say that i have ever heard of sterching a chain...but whatever. Yes, you can take out a link or two, or just tighten up the chain...do you know how? Loosen up the rear wheel, there are two little sprocket type things...set them up to what they need to be at for the chain to be tight(there is one on the left and right, make sure they are at the same setting).
i have adjusted the chain untill their are only like 2 notches left on the snail shell thing.(the chain tensnor shaped like a snail shell) im wondering if i should cut a few links off bec the sprockets and chain are fairly new. the same thing happened to CrAzYrM80's chain when he got a new chain and sprocket. where can i find a chain breaker for a chain for a dirtbike?
Nope. .no problems wit that. As for cutting it.. . what i did was just take a small 3" grinding wheel, and grind the top off one of the pins. Then you can hammer the pin out wit a nail driver. Put the master link through that hole ,and you shuld be fine.
FYI-Chain stretch is actually extremely common. The stretch isn't from the metal actually stretching, but from wear. The links pass through each other and in these places they wear, losing metal and allowing the chain to "stretch". O-Ring chains defeat this problem by constantly lubricating the internals of ea. link.
If you have already taken links out I suggest gettting another chain. By running a chain that has been cut twice you risk the chance of throwing the chain and crashing or even worse, breaking the cases.
