When I first found AJC I emailed Mike Childs and Jim Serr about membership. No response-I know they're busy. Later I found the central chapter page and emailed them. Still no response. Is anybody really out there?

A while back, there were some Colorado folk that were trying to organize the Central Chapter. There was a lot of debate over who/how to get it going. I'd like to see something gel around these parts.

Mooney Ag-yeah, we need to get together sometime. I work on my rig at the shop where I work on Saturdays a lot. Email me when you wanna drop in.
The SOA would be good for you to see, as an example of what NOT to do. When I get everything else done, I'll be redoing it completely, at least on the front. Gotta love PO's.

Sorry about that, but I do try to reply to emails about the club, but maybe a month or two late. Sometimes they get deleted due to SPAM filtering, so if the subject line just says "Hi" or "Help", then it is filtered.

Central Chapter has been pretty quiet lately, so perhaps they could use some help from you and others in the area to host some more events in that area. Hopefully we can get a great turn-out in Moab from the chapters.

I have a great place right here in my back yard for an event. Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area is located just North of Gilmer TX. Texas Motorized Trails Coalition owns the property.

That was the first place that came to my mind, too. I've never been there, but keep planning to. We need to get everybody rounded up and headed that way. We talked about that before, but we need to start an organized effort. Maybe find out if we ARE memebers of AJC first!!??

and what that'll do for us. I'll volunteer whatever I can do.
We said before maybe this spring some time. 'Course, I'll be needin' things like brakes and a front driveshaft before then.
