I am swapping in a set of Scout II 44s onto my CJ7 and was wondering about the caster. Shims help but I'm not sure that I might need more. Anyone have any info on rotating the the knuckles back a little? How much? I saw a site somewhere where they were cut and rewelded but I can't find it now. Thanks.

caster is something I'm experimenting with myself, i'm going to use some degree shims to add more negative caster.(for tighter steering on the trail), the BIG draw back to less/negative caster is on-road/highway steering is scary dangerous. anyone thats put long shackles on the front of a jeep knows what i mean, it's like pushing a shopping cart backwards. if your making a daily driver, i would stay as close to the factory caster as possible.
