i usually drive it to the shop once a week. I was building a tranny for my daily driver and drove it for 2 weeks once the 22 gallon fuel cell lastedall week i drive about 40-50 miles a day to and from work. so about 10 mpg. not bad unless to want to hear the secondarys hissing all the time. it is NOT a drag built truck, i just run the bogs they do when the monster trucks come to town. it tips the scales at 6500lbs. but i can say the HP makes up for the diffrence in the weight.there is a local track i run sometimes and the mud is about 15-20" deep and i will make 180ft pass in about 4-5 sec. i dontr think that is awfully bad considering the mass of the truck. i am trying to get my ducks in a row to try and get up to TEX's bog comming up. I will be up that way for the fall jambo at indy though, so hopefully he will have some racing going on then too.

Turning 44 boggers with a small block Chev, just got to love it.
Nice job of lining up in the ruts too.

G
Well when they put in the marle mud all you can do is run the runs. You also gotta figure the only thing under that stuff is a concrete floor!

Too cool! Hey, come on up & tear up this Missouri Mud! Sorry I won't be doin' anything in September (Mrs. TEX is "due" 09/28), but I'm sure we can find some Midwestern mud for ya somewhere around Indy weekend!

Tex,
Let me know on the mudding in the aera. Are you going to Indy? You will most prob find me real close to the Boyce Equipment tent there. Option tire and wheel will also be sharing the tent as evey year. If you got find me, we can hook up and romp on some Missouri mud or hang in indy, the locals have some good stomping ground there too.......

David

G
Hey, have you got any pictures of your coil setup. I'm always looking for new ideas.

No way I can make Indy this year, but I can surely get you a schedule of every event I know of. Most stuff I know of you can find from the various links on my web site. But, a lot of local stuff I'll put up here if you'd like.

here is how it mounts to the top of the frame. I do not have any complete shots of the suspension, it is damn hard for me to keep her clean long enuff to take decent pics of her!
I will see what I can do this week.

Actually, They let us "try" on Sunday. It feels totally diffrent when you are ON the cars than when you see the huge monsters go over them. I have a pic I will try and find of a Toyota on 38's getting hung up on the cars.

Hey dave, are you located in/near FT Myers Florida? A few years ago I was visiting realatives down there, and my second cousin took me to his shop where he was rebuilding his F150. In the bay next door, his buddy was in the proccess of building a new frame for his Blazer out of box steel. After reading the specs on your the truck, I just had to ask.
