Having to move the rear perches on my Scout 44s. I moved them once when I put them on my 74 cj-5 and am having to move them again for the Scrambler. I figured I would buy new perches at the local trailer shop. They are about 1/2 inch narrower than the ones on there. IS THAT OKAY? He said it would not be a problem. I would raather take it from people who know Jeeps.

I am not an expert on the subject, but I can say that a jeep axle goes through a hell of a lot more twisting and torqueing then a trailer. So if the perches are more narrow then the leaf I would not use them, perches are cheap do it right.

i think i have some extra 2.5" wide spring perches. check out the pic and let me know if you are interested. they are $25 for the pair plus shipping. shock mounts are the same price and the anti-wrap bar plates are $18 per pair.

i had a dozen (only needed 2) made for me by a local shop and have been selling the extras to people who needed them.

please email me if interested at [email protected]

Thanks for the offer, but I went back to the trailer shop and found some 2.5 inch wide ones. Hope they work. They are made out of 1/4 inch steel. They look capabale. I'll keep you in mind for other things I may run into.
Thanx again.
