Can I install the lockright in my d30 89 Yj front axle without taking out the carrier??? 4.11 gears

No. Gotta pull it. Not too bad of a job compared to the rest of the project, though. It's kind of tedious pulling the outer shafts, shift motor, inner RH shaft and tie rod end. Once all that is out, pulling the carrier is only 4 bolts and a prybar.

Yeah, it isn't that bad. It took me about 2.5hrs, and I was working slowly. Just remember to torque the ring gear bolts to the proper specs. The hardest part was getting the little pin out of the carrier.
