I got a 4 inch Skyjacker lift, now I need to lower my bump stops. I ordered the Skyjacker things, but I don't like them, they clamp on the axle with one u bolt. I want to lower my bump stops. Who sells them, or am I better off making them myself.

If you have access to a welder, just weld a spacer out of some square tube and install the rubber bumpers on the end of those. Thats what I'm doing for my CJ-7. The "Store Bought" ones don't turn me on either!

Don't even have to weld them. I made one inch spacers out of one inch square tubing, 2 for each bump stop. Just umbolted the 2 bolts, got one inch longer bolts, and put the square tubing spacers between the bump stops and the frame. Painted them with black paint first, they look like they are a stock item.

"Toys by Troy" in Phoenix, AZ, fabricated some extensions for me fron solid steel bar that are curved to fit snugly between the YJ frame and the stock rubber bumpstops. perhaps he makes the for the CJ as well:
