I saw a movie the other nite. I believe it was called "The Grave." It had Eric Roberts and Anthony Micheal(sp?) Hall in it. Eric Roberts has a cameo where he gives his vehicle over to a couple of escaped convicts
. I'm pretty sure that the vehicle was a bullnose. There's quite a lengthy scene with it while they're driving and talking. It didn't catch my eye until the end of the scene so I didn't get a good look. Anyone else see it?
p.s. I found out the movie was made in '96.

I wasn't sure of the spelling of "Anthony Micheal Hall." All one name. Is that what you were referring to?

My wife is fond of Scouts after seeing pictures of my 74. So, when we rented an alien movie recently starring Morgan Freeman (I can't remember the title of the movie) she noticed the main characters were driving in a Scout and got all excited. I told her that it just meant that it was going to get wrecked or blown to bits at some point in the movie. It flipped over about halfway through.

I watch Kelly's Heroes every once in a while just to see all the flattys in action.

I've yet to see a bullnose or a jeepster in a movie. I think someone mentioned Deliverance having one.

Sean, that was me, Gareth, that said I thought it was an Orange Commando in "Deliverance" but was told by someone in here they thought it was a Scout. I haven't checked to see yet. I keep trying to get them to use either of mine in anything I do but haven't had any luck yet. I once did a movie called "Full Body Massage" with Bryan Brown and Mimi Rogers directed by Nicholas Roeg and he loved my old 70 Dodge pick up so much it had a bigger part than I did. That was pre-Jeepsters for me and I am quite sure he would have used one of these had I had them at the time. I keep tryin though. There ought to be a web site dedicated to logging any vintage vehicle used in movies and TV shows for those who are fans of them. Maybe there already is...who knows.

Hey Gareth, we got one of those old cars for movies registry's here in Canada. I'm thinking that one of these days I'm gonna send in pictures of mine, at least my 70. Don't know if they could handle the rugged good looks of the Bullnose.

Gareth-
I didn't know you were an actor- I guess I'm too much of a newbie. I looked at your filmography several places, pretty impressive- our own celeb
. I tried to find pics of you to see if I could recognize you from anything I'd seen, and couldn't find one anywhere on the 'net.
BTW that WOULD be a Scout 800B in Deliverance. Same thing as a bullnose, though
.

Steve.

There was a bullnose on the cover of men's health mag. a couple of years ago. I did have a copy but I think I lost it in one of my many moves.

Steve,
Although I appreciate the sentiment, I hardly qualify as a "celebrity." Which is why you can't find any pictures of me on the web. I did 5 or 6 episodes of "The Shield" though, that will begin airing in March. I believe the first episode that I did will air on March 23rd. If you're interested you can take a look at that show.

Hey Gareth you'll do just fine as the "celebrity" for the Jeepster board.
I heard that over on the Scout board their guy with the most television appearances had a recurring role on "COPS!"

Best supporting actor in Dolphins shorts!
