Hello Everyone. If your reading this you are a very intelligent individual. Vw's RULE!
Does anyone have any info on removing the Venturi in a solex carb. I have done it and it seemed to work great but no matter what I couldnt get idle below 1100RPM

Hey I tried to rebuild 3 different Solex carbs with no luck I finaly gave up and replaced it with a new one for about $110 most bug places have them. there the PICT 31.

pull that old piece of JUNK off, buy a weber or a del and dont worry about it. my expierence is that there is 1 good one to about 1 million lemons.
