where is a good place to get steelbraided brake lines for kinda cheap price but not crappy i have a yj with a 4 inch lift so they need to be long enough

Got mine at quadretec, but most places are close to the same price. I used them because I ordered other pieces and didn't want multible shipping charges to save a dollar or two.

Not trying to jack the thread, but,..
What's the difference between DOT and non for braided lines?
Are the DOT lines the ones which have the clear sleeve over the braid?

There may well be several different types of brake lines but the two that I know of are DOT (double flared fittings) and the type the race people use with AN type fittings. The two fitting types cannot be mixed because they will not mate up and seal correctly, the AN style are not approved for public highway use. So you really only have one choice of fitting type if you still drive on public highways.

I picked up a Goodridge line from four wheel drive Hardware when I tore my rear line apart. I was impressed with its construction. The rear hose has fittings at both ends. You can replace the hose without replacing the two blocks -- if you can get a spare hose.

Is there enough room for flex?
