I am thinking about building my own rear brake (hard) lines, but I need to know what size these are. I am putting rear disks on, and don't want to shell out $100 for spidertrax's kit.

Also looking for good stock front brake lines and "banjo bolts" if anyone has them.

The brake lines are 3/16" tubing , standard stuff . The ends are metric and hard to find replacements that have the correct tip to fit in the wheel cylinders . Best bet is to re-use the ends and use new tubing ....

Thanks for all the help. I'll look into making my own lines. After looking at the lines on my sami though, I think all I need to do is replace the ends of my lines to fitt the larger front flex lines. Then I will just need to plumb in a proportioning valve.

Napa and a few others sell ends that will screw into the stock wheel cylinders but have a sort of flange on the end of them . Do not buy these as they will crack and leak over time . Also, if you are looking to buy a good flaring kit for brake lines (double flare), get the one from Matco Tools . Absolutely the best kit I've used in 25 years .
