I just did the mod last week. The vaccuum thigny should be behind and bellow the carb, pointing straight out towards the firewall.Hope this helps.

Ben

If you have an edlebrock carb, there is a tube sticking out of the BACK of it that the booster hose plugs in to.

/wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif I just learned that the V8s sometimes have the booster "teed" into the PCV hose between the carb and the actual PCV in-line valve. As you probably know, the PCV valve has a side outlet for the vapor recovery cannister, well, there is a tee ahead of that for the boost vacuum. Hope this helps..... My crack moonguy/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif/wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif/wwwthreads_images/icons/cool.gif brake booster team is ready to assist if need be. All you will need to do is send some plane tickets and have a LOT of beer on hand./wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif

I never believe any statistics unless my moonguys /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif made 'em up themselves.
