funny story:
I was sitting at work today when a friend called and said his room mate was about to deploy and wanted to sell his 94 jeep. He only wants $400.
Of course this warrants a look. I head over to the jeep and theres a guy there looking at it. Come to find out, the owner got us both there to have a bidding war, but he wasn't there yet. I looked at the jeep and it surprised e that it has a 4.0, 103000 miles and clean oil. it had been dumped on its side, but it has 3" springs, 3" body lift and 5 brand new 33's. Since the owner hadn't shown up yet, I talked to the other guy (who had cash in hand) and told him it wouldn't help either of us to runthe price up.. I told him I'd pay $600 for it.. he said he'd pay more if it ran...So, perturbed that the owner tried to juice us, I offered the other potential buyer $40 to go away.... which he did. 10 min later, the owner shows up and asks where the other guy is. I told him he came, looked at the jeep, said it was a POS and left. I then asked him what the bottom line was on the jeep...........

$300 with half doors and 5 new tires.. so I gave him the $50 I had on me and I'm taking my trailer there tomorrow at lunch to gather it up.
now.. I dont know what to do with the yj.. if I were ever planning to build a buggy, now's the time. I could also sell the parts and build another stroker... which I have been wanting to do. I could also get the yj back on the road.. it's ugly, but fairly sound.
I'll probably tear it down and keep everything but the tub.
I really dont have room for this thing, but $300????
actually $340 with the bribe...lol
