Hey all,
Doing a tub swap in the next few months. My CJ frame is in great shape besides the actual frame mounts. The holes for the body mounts are in need of repair. I am thinking of fixing them by welding 1" square tubing on top so that it is also a body lift and not have to worry about the body lift problems.
Does anybody think this is a bad idea? Not concerned with how it will look, this is a trail jeep only. I already have new set of stock body mounts so I don't want to have to buy the daystars.
Any comments? Or any pictures of your home brew body lifts? Thanks.
