this truck is off of ebay and its got a 3" body lift and looks realy good, and the frame is barely noticable in the pictures.
thought Id post this since there have been questions about body lifts lately.
from the pics Id think there would be enough room to stuff some 35s in. I also posted a pic of the front end just to show it doesnt have anykind of susp lift. and its lookn as tall as most 4" lifts.

More advice...as long as you keep the stock rims or similar, you won't have ANY rubbing problems. My tires rub, but that's only because I went with 15x10's and 33x12.50 15's. The edge of the tire clips the bumper at full travel and full lock.

Hope this helps.

There is just one thing that is still sorta puzziling me and thats the fact about running 315's on stock 7" rims. 2 years ago I ran 305's on my 16x7 stock rims and they were about the largest I think I would ever want to go on a rim that narrow. I guess the extra side wall height might make a difference but not much in my mind anyway. As for the idea....I love it!!! Only I think I would do it with out cranking the T-Bar up that inch. If it were me I would just take off the bumper and get one of the many aftermarket ones that will fit. I know for a fact that 35's will fit at stock height on an IFS Chevy if you arn't running the front bumper. All these guys I know with Pull trucks are doing just that with out any problems at all. I think though that I would also run a 1.5" wheel spacer in the rear just to keep the tire away from sheet metal on the inside of the wheel well.

trust me if I could run 35s with my truck stock I would, you think the bumoers the only thing thats causeng the hang up?

my 285s will kiss the bottom edge of the fender every ounce in a while, but thats on an 8" wheel with a wider offset

hey ryan, if ya get a chance i'd like to see a pic with a stock ifs truck running 35s. i've been considering running some 34x9x16 tsl swampers on my stockers and wonder if i'll be ok. if not, 285s will do me good.

RyanB, like I said, his tires look fine. A 315 is only like a fifth of an inch or so wider than a 305, and most are actually about the same diameter.
I still want the rear spacers, but if I do this setup, I would put the tires and rims on first, and then see how much fender clearance I had. I'm not sure if the 315's would hit fender with the additional 1.5" of track width on each side.
