How the motor sits in the last pic, is that how it is going to stay? Looks like the front could be lowered a bit and leveled out. Looks like the exhaust manifold is stock, wont that put some hefty limitations on HP? What kind of specs on it??? Good looking motor though... Why did you pick a Suzuki platform to run it in?

I really don't care for the way the motor sits either, but to get my 10 degrees on the intermediate shaft thats what it took. The exhaust was a tough decision to go with headers would have meant moving the steering, didn't want to mess with that. Horsepower loss o'well minimal for what I wanted. Why a samurai? because I have always wanted a car or truck with a blower. The springs are custom made by triangle spring. Bumpsteer, I hope not, I have the crossover steering from sky manufacturing. Thanks for the comments!

The front is out of a toyota truck, and the rear is out of a fj60. What i paid for those with the rear disc brake kit i could have purchased rockwells.

Yes bump steer.

Crossover steering was not intended to deal with the height you have on the springs. The angle of the
drag link is what will cause your rig to have bump steer. Your roll center is somewhere near your spring
eye level, and the center of the panhard bar is well below that.

Test: With no shocks on, (easy at this stage...) bounce on the front bumper/frame. Watch your steering
wheel it will be rotating as you bounce, or "bump". Also watch the tires they will probably be moving side
to side unless you have a serious steering damper on.

On the other hand, I'm not too sure how much travel you are going to get with those springs arched like
that, with the very short front shackles and the static angle they have. That thing will propably not
bounce too much no matter how you jump on the front of it.

If its only for shows, anything can work, just don't try to demonstrate "what it will do" unless you have
a death wish.

Outlaw i do understand what you and sarge are saying, i really didn't give it much thought when i posted. I also realize the truck will not flex at all with the arch i have on the springs. I realize most (all) the people on this board are hardcore wheelers and i respect that. It's a suzuki board and just wanted to show my mall cruiser. Also, i am to damn old to do anything stupid with a truck that isn't designed to really wheel or drive fast on the street. Don't get me wrong i am not trying to be defensive by any means. you are just pointng out a fact.
