Im swapping the heater motor for my 84 CJ
Got a new motor from a 73 Blazer 350 a/c
Someone else told me a 83 is the year
Can someone let me know if I got the right one?

Its the right motor. All you need to do is cut the hole bigger and enjoy the heat.
Dont for get the bolt behind the valve cover for the heater box; ITS A BITCH.

Good Luck,
Rob

Go to your local wrecking yard & ask for an interchange printout.
Most won't have any problem with that request except with 1 thing,
it takes about 3 full pages to print it out.
I sell used parts.
That same motor fits half of the GM a/c vehicles for 20 years.
The 1 I put on my 85 CJ7 was a new 1 I found on an 86 Cutlass
Supreme although it would be the same on a Ciera(fwd).
Go to a yard and ask to SEE an interchange and go find a "new"
one for next to nothing.
Hope this helps you on your hunting.
Good luck.

Well boys, I got it from the local AutoZone, $12
And doing the YJ tub swap at the same time so that nasty bolt
behind the valve cover, is in the floor and not looking so bad right now
The hole is now 3.25" and lookin forward to that beautiful heat
in the winter time here in Boston town

Thanks for your help and hope that someone else can use the info also

Did the swap last night
Had to modify the blower housing
Needs to be opened up a bit
It seams that the new motor is deeper and the housing needs to be "worked on"
