Re: Bike size advice and thanks

how tall is he? If I were you I would check out the KTM 65, those things rip, but small, and are perfect in just about every aspect for a 2 stroke...

unless you son is taller than normal I think a 80 or 85 might be to big, but I am known to be wrong, good luck

Yup, it's either between a 65 or a 80, I would opt for the 80, it might be a little big but kids that age grow fast, and later you'll be glad you went with the bigger bike rather than buying him another one at age 11. Something like this.

It depends how tall he is. Take him to the dealership and have him sit on each. As long as he can touch ground with both feet on the 80, id say get that. He can grow into it, and ride it for awhile.

A few years back, i co owned a 2000 CR 80 with my girl friend, and i rode the piss out of it(im 5'11").

We went out and him up a KX 60 on Saturday. he's been enjoying himself, discovering the difeerences between the 4 and 2 strokes.

Sounds like a good choice. A litle bigger than what he had but not overly so.

SO when ya gonna teach him how to mix fuel? Haha.
