BigNorm\'s bone yard discovery

Ok. Most of this is going to probably be obvious to the regular wrecking yard fanatic. But for me it's been a long time since I've actually spent a little time looking for gold. Today I found out that there is no shortage of Corporate 14 bolt rear axles. There is also pleanty of Solid D44's and NP 203 transfer cases. There does seem to be a shortage of NP 205's and D60s (of any breed). This is of course just the findings in my local pick n pull but when I talked about The D60 to another wrecking yard and compared it to looking for gold he said, "platinum maybe" All I can say is wow. If you live in this half of the US and see a D60 let me know.

yep, like that all over.
thats why whenever i find any d60 front i buy it....
to date i have owned
1976 dodge
1978 chevy
1979 ford
1978 ford
1977.5 ford
1987 ford.
just takes patience, and patroling the yards on a regular basis.

yeah , the yards down here arent as wealthy though. Your lucky to find a good looking ttb lol. To this day I dont think ive found a solid axle dana 44 in any of the yards. Granted we have 3 yards and they are all rather small , well 2 of the 3.
