What is the biggest size I can fit on my truck???
I will trim the fenders more if needed.
But that is not really the problem, I have 4.10 gears and they seem a little TALL. But does any one on here run at least 40's with 4.10's????

I think Im gonna get a job!!!!

Then I can buy some 39.5x15 TSL's
I will up grade to a sf14bolt when my rear goes out,
and when the front end rips rips apart I can sell the superlift and put a d44 with 4 more inches of lift and 5.13 gears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But for know ill just get the 39.5x15 TSL after I get that job..

umm 44's on IFS are you nuts? Its 4WD mke that IFS work hard! Get some 48" Firestones and be done. And no do not get a D44 front, get a Dana 30 front from a scout and use wheel spacers to shim the wheels out. The best rear end to run is the Dana 35C, C stands for Cool, cuz you'll look cool with big tires.
Uncle Remus for real has a whiplash lift 13" I think.
Oh and about that overcompensating thing. I don't think yer over compensating if u drive a truck on the street with 44's. I think thats kickass u say fukk gas mileage and tire wear! So if that is true thouh, what is to be said about willyswanter (Jason)??/ He is building 2 trucks on 44's (hopefully the second will have 44's instead of 40's) and they will be driven on the street.

everyone I know who has gone with a tire bigger than a 38.5x14.50 has always put smalller tires on when they bought new ones...I dont know why? Maybe because it tore up the fenders, killed the rear wheel hp, and went through rear ends. I have a 9 inch lift too and Im just going with a set of 38.5x14.50...Im only 17 right now, and I just spent all my money putting a hydraulic roller cam in and some hooker long tubes. The sad thing is I have enough money to buy 2 38.5's right now, and I need 2 new tires right now so I have to spent that money on some 35's.

Oh me, more poo. Anyway, what? the wills on the street? AHHH, maybe on a weekend or two but not much. Now that I found that nice little rock garden about 15 mins away I don't think I'll ever be on the street again/wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif. Oh, and oletater, your sure working hard to sway me to 44's from 39.50's on the white truck!

Nope, Rezzy Joe has the honor of the most posts in his first week. Had the whole board up in arms and damn near got booted. He's the reason that we have a chat room, doncha know? If you ever want some entertainment go way back to when he joined and read his first week's posts. Whew that boy was irritating... Luckily he settled down a bit. Yes, he has settled down. Scary, eh?

HEIL TO THE KING BABY !!!

Now really, why do these kids (yeah I know I'm a kid too) need huge tires for street stuff ? Man, 4-6 inch lift and 35's is the max, why do you need more than that? To look cool? What the hell? I say if you want huge tires to break things and look cool, you'd look a lot cooler and be more practical to just get a musclecar. Then you can drive street all the time AND look cool! Yeah! Of course you'd prolly kill yourself on the first day, I know I would! I guess I'm just to old for my age. Huh?

Yeah I've settled down, I know I was an idiot, but I would like to humbly declare that I consider myself an intergral part of the BBS now.

I leave you with this -

"And the bringer of doom was called Resurrection Joe, and upon the masses he brought down his fury, and the masses said "OUCH THAT HURT!""

Hey RJ are you a writer??
Anywho I have had TSL 39.5x15's on the truck before but I got a good deal on these tires so I got them. I really miss my 39.5's they made my truck look ALOT bigger. And that is what I whant back I didn't have any problems except the gears aren't low enough. It took of fine but I had to be doing at least 55mph to use O/D.
And I have plans to swap in a sf14bolt with 5.13 gears!!

Ok, your putting a 14sf in the rear but what are you doing in the front? The front is weaker than the 10 bolt rear! Your fronts gonna POO it's guts all over the place. Oh yeah, I have 35" baja claws on my black truck and my 10 bolt is gone! Makes a real nice clunk clunk clunk when turning and nice rattling noise under 30mph. Just something you have to look forward too./wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif But then again, I take my truck off road any chance I get, and you said that you don't go hardly at all. So, I guess as long as you crawl away from intersections you'll be fine. But if your like me flooring it up a hill in 1st with rocks flying everywhere, then you'll prob. have problems.

I am going to do a SFA swap with a D44 or a D60 but that is
later even when I go off road I only use 4x4x4 If I need it.
And im not hard on it in the mud un less I need to be.
But I will always have to use the rear if you get what I am saying.
