sh#@, yeah i know i meant lowest, i noticed that after i had already posted it,

i had some guy tell me that i would have to change the diff housing if i wanted to go to a gear ratio lower than 3.55 from my 3.07s, so i just wanted to know if he was right or not, thanx for the input

Scram is right...... 4.56 is the lowest stock gear ratio with the Dana 30 and 35c. You can get lower but there is something to consider. The trouble is that the lower you go, the weaker the pinion gear becomes because to get the ratio lower, there has to be less teeth on the pinion. If you need to go lower than 4.56, it might be a good idea to consider bigger axles. /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif
