I am normally on the Jeep page but, my dad has a 63 VW, glass buggy. It has been off the road for a number of years and we are going to get it running again. After a couple of rides with me he got the itch again. Thank God, I thought he was getting too old. Our problem is that we are out of the loop we it comes to VW web sites & wbe sites that offer after-market products. Can you please post your favorite web sites. We have to replace the braking system and tune the Webers as well as general stuff. The buggy is street legal, fiberglass body with a 1776 engine, 2 2 barell Webers, mild cam, blue coil, racing dist., ect... Thanks

87 Wrangler, 258, weber, aluminum valve cover, TR igintion upgrade, rs5000, 3 inch body lift, 31x10.5 BFG t/a, nerfs, interior bed liner paint, no rust, riged for the beach

http://www.cbperformance.com these guys have been around as long as modifing vw's has been. their catalog is much better then their website though. you can also look up barrett enterprises, chirco, prowler. pick up a hot vw's magizine and look in it, they are packed full of adds. the vw aftermarket is still going strong!

CB Performance, Huh? That used to be Claude's Buggy's didn't it? No thanks! For suspension stuff, try German Auto (562)863-1123 or Call Fibrecraft in Reno (775)329-2039 ask for Bill. Very knowledgable and helpful. And if your'e trying to get back into the loop, pickup a HOT VW's magazine, whole lotta dealers in there. Good Luck

Well stuff happens.
I'd rather buy from a store directly, but small towns = mail order shopping.
Did you sell your bug yet?
