Just thought I'd post a picture with some modifications. Since last post, I've completed the power steering conversion, installed the backseat, bought and installed softtop, rebuilt carb, and put on new rims and tires.

Have bought fender flares for it but don't like the back ones, so still considering what to do. To install the back flares I'd have to cut more metal to round it out to fit them, don't know if I want to do that yet.

Great pic of the Commando. Would look great as a half cab though.
I am so close to HAVING to do that wiring deal so let me know if you're up for it.

that makes me jealous... it's nice, i hate haveing my jeepster sitting 200 miles away from me in pieces... i can't wait to get out of school so i can get back to building it.

Tire size is a 32x11.5 on a 15. I'll post a close-up of the mirror, the PO installed. Looks like he used a separate bracket/mirror combo.

btw, anytime anyone wants to go get their jeeps dirty here in LA, let me know. I haven't taken the Rig out much, still wheelin alot in my other money pit, but want to go get here dirty. If all you LA people are interested, I've got a place up in Arrowhead we could use as a staging ground!
