hey,
do what xj173 said, and you can also check it another way. Grab a buddy to look at your front end it you want. Start the jeep and just leave in in park/neutral then spin the steering wheel slowly side to side (about a half turn) If your body moves before the wheels do, your track bar is junk. What i mean is if you can feel the front end going from side to side, and the wheels barely turning then replace the trackbar.
The track bars (stock) run about $60-90. At this point you might as well shell out the money to get an adjustable one, just for the hell of it, it will help a lot as well. OK so i have the Rubicon one, Scram does to and he might be able to atest to this- THEY WEAR OUT QUICK. i know that we had a bitch of a winter, and my heim joint on the trackbar is already gone, after only 5000mi! the heim itself costs $40 from RE. I don't really want another one if they go that fast. Rusty's is now making an adjustable one that uses the same type of mount as the bottom part does (unlimited downward movement and flex). Also the thread is longer to acomidate up to a 6-7" lift RE's will only accompidate a 4.5" lift (to small for me, and scram as well.) They are both the same price. There are also ones made by JKS, which is self adjusting (i wouldn't trust it) and one by tera flex (NON REPLACIBLE END!) hope this helps man, let us know if you need anything else.
Check out all you tie rod ends, and make sure your control arms are tight too. When was your last alignment/ tire balance? Check those too.
Later,
Todd
