Didn't see one this years so here it goes.

1st. Ive got to get power back to my House after the Storms in S. MO
2nd. Wench the trailer to the road because the ground is way to wet to get my truck to it.
3rd. Fix my traielr lights
4th. Get the trailer licensed in MO
5th. Start the Jeep, check fluids, grease everything, etc.
6th. Load all my camping crap, not too much stuff
7th. Load the Jeep
8th. Make tracks to Attica

I'm sure I forgotten something too.

A few days ago I replaced the seal in the front winch drive and straightened the front bumper. Then Toby and I fixed the windshield nut that had broken loose. Today I started to clean the poor thing up a little. It's almost ready to go. I have to go pick up the trailer, clean oput the motorhome, and then load a whole lot of stuff.

Got the transmission in last week, front driveshaft this week, found out I don't have overdrive and jeep is at the transmission shop. After that, just pack everything. Looks like I finally get to bring the CJ again. Oh, yeah, take the BFG's off and put the LTB's on.

It has been fairly nice the last few days. I have about 30-40 miles on the new gear sets and everything is looking great.

Gotta grease the chassis and tinker a bit with the carb and on board air.

Most of my concern is with the trailer I am borrowing. The last time it was used by my neighbor I had to help him get the brakes to work last minute for a CO trip. He says all brakes and lights are still good to go, but I won't go get the trailer until Wednesday sometime. I hope I spend most of Wednesday casually loading/packing and not mad thrashing on a trailer.

Otherwise, just got to get with my rider and determine what we need for food, tent, and try to make an educated guess on clothing needs without packing half the house. The closest I will come to an enclosed Jeep is a Safari top and soft half doors, but I do have a kick a$$ heater so as long as I can stay relatively dry we'll be good to go.

Oh yeah... need to hit a beverage store. :D

You can always pull the drain plugs and just let it run through.

Bring shorts, sunblocker, a rain slicker, sump pump... It's not looking like it will be cold... Don't watch the weather forcast to see if it will be wet!!! They don't know either.

JUNK FOOD, BEER, ICE, SMOKES,
And something stinky to run off bugs with!

Don't forget the 'Treats' for the camp strays that always show up for 'Free' stuff...
You know, Pickled Eggs, Pickled Pigs Feet, Clear Liquor...
Stuff you KNOW will haunt them the next day! ;):D

The Yellow Jeep has been pulled out of the weeds, new flywheel ring gear.... So at least it starts again (first time in just about a year). Wonder how long it will run with that Holley injection setup???

Didn't know you were coming Brad... Will be good to have you. :)

Never thought of Pickled Eggs as junk food... But I've got a few of those and will bring a couple of BBQ Grills, a Smoker... Some other things to eat that I don't consider to be "Junk Food", might just be a little bit unhealthy but not "Junk Food". I'm not eating salads this coming weekend.

Should be a good weekend providing we don't need boats to save the "Camp Strays" from drowning. :eek:oo:

Never did re-install. But I do have a CD player mounted in the center console now... I'm good to about 3-4 feet with player, bottom of the dash without.

Don't forget the hip waders.
I've worn waders before to keep the cold spring river water off of me. I'm assuming this is a joke though... or should I toss them in?

I'll toss a little bit of everything in a duffel and haul butt. My rider and I still gotta get food items figured out, but our families camp together all the time so it's cake.

Don't worry... You will be fine if you bring "a little bit of everything"... And you shouldn't need the "Hip Waders" or a "Sump Pump"... But if there isn't at least a short storm/down pour... It won't be the Bash.

The propo valve got here yesterday, Thanks Jarrett! I don't know if I'll have time to install it before we leave, but if not it will be OK. The Jeep is ready to go, and yesterday I got the motorhome over into the drive and started cleaning it up. Still have to finish cleaning, pick up the trailer and then get everything loaded.

Well, my list just got longer... need to add learning to walk again. I had a small spill on the motorcycle Sunday and broke the top of my femur. They did an intertrochanter nailing to put it back together and so far I've walked across the room very slowly and with a little difficulty. If I do make it, it will be to visit Saturday evening with everyone.

Well, now THAT's a durn fool thing to do. I've always said folks should avoid them there murdercycles like the plague!

A real bummer, Will. What's your prognosis? We'll have a soft bed for you if you can make it to the Bash. Going to be up for a trip to Land Between the Lakes in a couple months?

Well, it's been a few days now and I'm just now able to walk about 50 feet at a time. Leg is still swollen and the muscles along the top outside of my leg are still sore and weak. Looks like I won't even make it for Saturday... bummer. I'll definately be up for land between the lakes. What are the details of that trip?

Why does my Bash Todo list keep getting longer??? It rained the last two days straight. I have got to mow before tonight. Stopped at Wal-Mart to do some shopping this morning. Ended up breaking up a domestic brawl in the parking lot and helping the victim contact my co-workers. That killed an hour or so. Forgot eggs to boot!

So as my son takes his nap, I will service the Jeep and start packing. Then mow, run back to store for eggs, pack some more, load Jeep onto trailer, and hopefully not finish packing under the stars.

Luckily it only took about a half hour to get all lights and brakes working on the trailer, bit otherwise my day is not going as planned... at all.

Going to try and hit the trail at 0630.

It's midnight in Indiana... and yes it's rained a bunch today and will rain a bunch more tonight (well maybe) depending on where you are in Indiana.

Come on out... It may rain a little but the big storms should be gone for a couple of days if the Weather Guessers are correct... Where did I put that Sump Pump?

Lots of things that I might comment on in this thread... But...

Remember that Poll that Aaron871 started???

How about Harland for the Fall Bash, yes this year?

I'm going to slowly work up to a Fall Bash "RamRod" here (unless some dirtbag tic's me off).

I missed you at the Spring Bash Will, but better that you stayed home and healed up. Did you ever miss a Spring Bash in the past?? Can't remember one in my Bash History.

Ahhh later, I'm getting all mushy and stuff.

I went to the doctor this morning for x-rays and get my staples out. He says everything is looking good. I missed one bash a few years ago. I'll have to look at my picture collection to see for sure which one but pretty sure it was 2006 along with the first one. I missed being there and visiting with everyone too but will try to make a fall get together... Land Between the Lakes would be good for me.
