when i bought it the guy said that the carb caps were stripped but they were epoxied so they wouldnt be a problem and like 3 other mechanics said the same thing so i figured it was good...welll i was cruisin today and suddenly the throttle went just about wide open...so i was like frick and hit the ignition switch..it still ran..so i hit the kill switch...it still ran! so i let the clutch out and punched the brakes and got it to stall...looked at it and behold! the right carb cap came all the way loose causing the throttle to come wide open! not good i say! so what can i do about this..the epoxy doesnt seem to work...one thing ive heard of is putting screws thought the side of the caps to hold em down...what do you think about this? i want something that will work so i dont have anyother misshaps...also on top of the carb caps are this big..uhh...thingies...i dont know what they are but they look spiffy! could someone enlighten me on these thingies....oh and isnt the TORS thing supposed to kill the engine if the throttle is stuck wide open? then why wouldnt mine even turn of?!?!? thanks!
