Some of you know my nephew Adam from Zookimelt(he's the one with all the metal in his face!!). What you probably didn't know, was he used to have a Sammy of his own a couple years back. He hit hard times, and sold it.
We have been looking for a few weeks now for another one for him, and thanks to Jeff Pollock, we got one!!! Drove to Dayton OH yesterday, and picked it up.
We now have about 5 weeks to get it built before the Bedford Boys first run of the new year!
Getting SPOA, YJs, 5.12 gears, Lockrite front, Lincoln locker rear, 33s, and hopefully after all that, we will have time to build an exo cage on it before the deadline!

Glad to see he's back in the game. That tintop looks pretty clean.

When is he gonna get a profile up on the BBS so we can harass him some more?

Ya know, I was thinking the trend is to try and keep the weight down for wheeling. That's one of the reasons the Samurai does so well offroad because it's so light. And the more you strip off, the lighter it gets....ie. top, doors, windshield.

So does this mean that Adam removes all his piercings before hitting the trail to lighten things up?

No...he will just lighten the truck more to make up for his peircings....you know...but scraping the sheetmetal all off on trees, rocks, etc.
