welll... this might b a stupid question but i need to ask it ne way. i may not even b able to get an ansewer but... lets say i need a new rear axle.. and im gonna put 4.10s in it and the front d30....where would i go to find a good axle...d44 or sumthing else thats gonna hold up to 33's (ford 8.8??) and how much can i expect to spend? used? new? junkyard? im pretty much lost about price and where to find one.. please help thank u much

you can also look for the D44 out of an 87-90 XJ (sprung over)or MJ (sprung under) i bought one for $260.....they will have the metric ton package on them.........or you can get a waggy rear D44 (not sure on the year but search for wbcarver on this site) there have been tons of these swaps done , you can get one for under $200.......search for H8monday if you want to go the 8.8 way, about $300 with most of the disk brake stuff on it....i think he had that on his comp. rig running big meats.......welcome to the world of jeep crap......
