For those of you who've done the rear shackle flip (homebrew or purchased kit), have you noticed more rear axle hop? (and any solution that you've used to rememdy it?).
TIA

Maybe I worded the question wrong, what I wanted to know is does the shackle flip have more wheel hop than a spring lift?

Yes, there is more wheelhop because of the shackle flip compared to a spring lift due to the fact that the springs have a softer rate.

No matter what, it is less than a lift block.

I noticed a miniscule difference with wheelhop with open differentials because the one tire would just spin.

Now that I have a locker I have wicked wheelhop, which I'd still have with a spring lift. The ride is the same in the rear which is nice. I'm talking about the kind of wheelhop that makes the whole truck shudder, cleans the [bleep] off the seat, and leaves chatter marks on the asphalt.
