Uh oh. A guy local I've met in my travels has come to me and asked if I want his 68 first dibs. It's the normal 3spd and semi rough to ok shape. 800 bucks.
I have the 67 that I bore you guys with and the 69 that I haven't touched. but Like chris, It would be nice to postscript 67, "68" & 69. but my wife will kill me ! Is there a fold and tumble seat that will lie flat enough for a grown man to sleep comfortably within ? I'm gonna need it if i do this. (smile)

Len.... I'm a newly-wed and all, but my best advice can be sought from my signature, good luck passing on a good deal... PS if you do get the Commando, I live in Broomfield, CO and have some extra space in the basement... /wwwthreads_images/icons/laugh.gif

I have had domestic trouble over project vehicles too---
I have noticed that my wife imagines all kinds of wierd things about my old 4x4 truck---
She has referred to it as my lover--- even when I have not driven or worked on it for weeks.
I have been to the professional social workers about it--- the social worker's theory is that ANY man who has
a hobby-- like a 4x4 project vehicle is suspect of being impotent-- and not able of having a meaningful relationship
with his wife!

In otherwords your Jeepsters are evidence that you are sicko!

So when women go to a marriage counselor--- and they here this hobbie/project vehicle sick husband theory--
they tell their girl friends and word has gotten around that they are being neglected in life ---- or are even victoms of
abuse because their husband works on a 4x4 vehicle---
I had one social worker accuse be of being "in love" with my project vehicle--- and calling it by a woman's name--
and referring to my rig as "SHE" and all that crap which is not true or real at all.

The whole theory is very popular these days--- that men have displaced affections for their automobiles-- and
that men are sick if they have a hobbie---- that this sickness has to do with being unable to have a decent
marriage because they are "in love" with their Jeep or Truck...

Most women just don't realise the rig just shows more affection back to us. They don't nag, complain, waste money, or even bitch when we look at another rig! If my wife would start acting more like my rig and truck, I wouldn't mind her spending money foolishly. And I'd definately do more things with her ;o)

Have ever read the Pat McManis(i think i spelled his name wrong)stories in the back of outdoor life? He tells a story about his wife Bun getting mad about buying and sell guns. His idea is to put a lamp shade on it and she will
think it's a lamp. Let us know if it works
