I have a couple of photos-I'll post them when I figure out how. I took fourth overall in open-c. The Pro class was super fast (Kory Ellis, Doug Gust, Tim Farr), it was something to finally see these guys in action.

i went as well, finished 11th of 12 in 'open C' got my butt kicked. both races i had a bad start, in the main i stalled it at the gate(long story short, the clutch started to grab just before the gate dropped so i hit the brake instead of the gate) got out just as everyone was rounding the 1st corner... made up all but 50 ft on the next rider.
what an experience, the track was killer, & the pros were nothing short of awesome to watch. 460+ riders attended.

i went to glamis for a couple days after & just got back last night.
if the nationals come back next year, i'm not sure if i'll go, but if i do, i plan to be on a different bike... something i can run in production or 4-stroke classes.... where there are less sandbaggers.

With it being the first time for the nationals over here, I could understand a lot of people not really knowing what class to run in.

I am glad they finally got a national on the west coast and it looks as though it was a huge success. Hopefully they will add a few more. Will be at the Worcs race in Austin and we just had the GNCC in Gilmer/Barnwell Mtn. and it appears to have been a success as well. The expansion of GNC/GNCC and racing in general seems to be working. There were lots of nay sayers about having a GNC race on the west coast and big hoopla moving the GNCC race to TX. Mainly from the riders on the east coast, which, understandably, is a longer ride and adds to the expense. It looks like they(GNCC/GNC) are expanding and its a good thing and has added some more riders who would otherwise not have raced at all.
