I posted this fix sometime last summer after I did mine. here is the link I used
slowspeed
I think I only use one bottle of the silicone. On mine the drill driver was the only way I could get it apart. If you don't have one I would go to Sears or your favorite harware store and get one, I use mine all the time.

If you are patient and willing to fool with the o-ring you can cram it back in place without cutting and re-glueing it as the instructions say, it just take patients. Hope this helps

Thanks for the post. That seems simple enough. How effective is it, and where can you get the right silicone compound?

How well it works would depend on what your cooling problem is, it won't cure a clogged radiator or anything. All I can say is that mine would run petty hot, just below the hot mark but never overheated, before I fixed mine and now I don't think it has ever gotten past half.

I called the Suzuki dealership and they had no idea what I was talking about so I just got it from the Toyota dealership. Use the part number in the link and I think I only use one bottle. It's pretty cheap and an easy place to start when trying to cure an overheating problem.

Yeah, got that link already . I thought someone had a writeup a couple years back about doing a Zuk fan . I have two bottles on order , I'll figure out how much to use in it . My biggest problem is high revs at slow speeds , the fan doesn't engage and pull hard enough to suck the air past the winch . Had it up to 220* last week again trying to make it up a nasty mud hill ....
