http://forums.jeepsunlimited.com/ubb/Forum4/HTML/005497.html I was looking for a scrambler 1/2 top and saw there was a guy with a set for $275. I have heard that buckshots are really good in the sand (thornbirds are not well thought of where I am from). If you were real creative with a grooving iron you could probably make you a decent set of tires out of them. There is enough tread for sure.

Hey,

I bought them for my TJ back in 97 before I started wheeling. I still have them! I now have about 50k miles on them! Their bald now but lasted a heck of a long time.

They really stink in the mud, on the road, in the rain, snow, etc. However they did ok in the sand.

Just get ready to turn the radio up cause they are extremely loud. I also have a CJ7 on 35 swampers and they are not as loud as my 33 turds.

Well, I've got a set of four 31 x 12.50 that I bought two years back and put in storage. I got them cheap for my CJ just to get by, but my Jeep hasn't moved much since and its still on the old tires. If you can get down to Nashville, you can have them for $250. They're in great shape - lasty I looked at them/wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif.

I have a set of 35-14.50-15 that are in good shape that I will sell for $550.00.
I also have a set of 15x12 white wagon wheels that are in real good shape that I will sell for $200.00.I will sell together for $700.00 which is cheaper than what you would pay for the tires alone. If you or anyone else is interested drop me a line at jeepmaxx@bellsouth.net BTW, they are located in Auburn Al.
