hey Pat, lets put something together to get a bunch of us from the forum to all go camping at silver lake this summer. it would be a great time. let me know what you think michiganders

 

sounds good to me, i'll have to check with the GF, she's due in august. ill have to get her one of those spongy suspension 4wheelers. i like the trails, for dirt biking, but my buddie has a sand rail,,,i'll see if i can rent it

i thought camping was throwing on a backpack, a 3 lb tent, a sleeping bag, and a gun. then going catching your own meal by the river, cooking it and then hiking the next day another 15-20 miles. that was when i used to do alot of that.

now camping means we get together, load up our trucks with beer and red meat. go get a huge fire going (safe and water on hand of course) and drink and eat. listen to tunes, then go play in the fields. now i have to ride passenger until i can get another beast. or until summer when i get my truck back from my dad. again most of the time i hold off drinking taking picures and videos of drunks and selling it back to them so their gfs don't get mad and leave them.

hell, where i come fromwe dont haeva ny sissy teny or trailers for that matter. if we're lucky we get a tarp and most of the time its just a poncho. keeps most of teh wet off of ya but doesnt do much for warmth.
I"m definately down for a trip to silver lake. the g/f is going too...she doesnt know yet but i waer the pants around here and I"m gonna tell her. yeah thats how it'll be. uh huh.
ok. i'll ask her for permission to go and see if maybe shed make time in her busy schedule to coem too.

 

im tired of tenting, i allways get caught the last day in the pooring rain, id rather not drive home wet anymore, yeah i have a 2 person for me and the girl. i dont know yet if i want to take the new truck to the sand dunes yet, i think id rather get some miles on it 1st, i do have a rm250, but ive never been to the dunes with it, do they have places to take it becides the dunes out thier

 

drive the d-max to show it off, then you can rent a wrangler and beat the piss out of it and not have to worry or clean it up.

 

now thats an idea, im not much into showing off (ordered with 245 tires, looks kinda funny) but beating the hell out of a wrangler sounds fun

 

you wouldn't need to show off......just park that big rig next to mine so i can drool over it.

 

well i dont know about the camping part, but sure as hell ill be there as soon as it warms up a little, just say the word, and ill try and drag a couple of buds out with me.
