I'm a big fan of Hammerite spray paint. I painted a set of Chevy Rally wheels with it and was happy with the results.
I washed the rims really well and scuffed with a scotchbrite pad and sprayed them. Turned out great. Used the paint
on my frame with good results too.

What I did with my white wagon wheels last year was sandblast them and paint them with white appliance epoxy paint. After a
couple days of curing they are bulletproof. Cheap enough too, Rustoleum brand epoxy is about 3 bucks or so a can, you can do 4
wheels with about 3 cans.

I did the spoke wheels on my Subaru Brat with Hammerite...Awesome stuff...Keeps rustspores from expanding...
