right...i can find a new one for an 82-86 CJ with a 258.... quadratec has those in stock...i just wanted to make sure it would bolt up right, etc. I know some of the amc slaves have like two ears that come off the cylinder (one on each side of it) while my cylinder has sort of a flange that comes off with two holes drilled in it....does that make any sense? I just don't get it. I've called every parts store in the city, nobody even can get me one for a 78 cj......ugh....

I just don't like any of the stockers because of how cheap they are made.
Everything that I have ever fabbed with a hydraulic clutch has been aftermarket master and slave. They work great and are usually adjustable somewhat. The stockers are not. Just my $.02.
