Hey guys OK here's the deal, I built a few off-road sammies, and found a great deal on a 2wd. I plan on building it to be much more street worthy maybe even "street race" worthy. I was wondering if any of you guys knew of non-offroad sammy sites. Anything will do. I know there are several sammies in the street race scene running rotary engines, and gti engines, I just can't find mention of them on the internet, any help will do. Thanx!

Thanks Tusker,
One of the reasons I said Non-offroad. is because many of the engine swaps require some lift. I was planning on doinf a small lift to run 31's just for looks but I thought about it and figured I would go a different route with her. Thanks again. anyone else have sites that can help.

This might be a dumb question but what does VHP mean?

Visual Horse Power---
IE. Tin cans on the end of exhaust pipes---Chromed items under hood---SS Braded lines--
In a lot of cases, hood scoups--Wings on the back of 90mph cars etc...

I do realize that the sammy 1.3 is a very underpowered, slow engine. But I do think that a gti, rotary, 1.6, or even 4.3L are very power engines. I think 100 hp+ on a tin can like a samurai can have real performance. I do see many imports with exhaust tips, nice seats, cool paint and a spoiler that think they can go head to head with a mustang all the time. I'm not building one of those. I think a powerful engine modified the right way can really do wonders to my little 2wd sammy. I just wish there was more info out there on these conversions.

N/A or turbo rotary, no t-case, yoter rear (with locker/spool), rustang II front IFS system, etc.
